Only solid quality materials are used along with a well know quality fireplace manufacturer ( Napoleon ). All materials are produced in the USA. The mantels are made by a local wood craftsmen. The stone veneer is also manufactured locally ( J & N Stone, Inc. ). Framing is by JCS Fireplace, Inc. A fireplace in your home would be a favorite gathering place for you and your family. Included in this stone fireplace kit:
Easy to assemble pre built wood 2 x 4 framing & pre built wood 2 x 6 raised hearth. Complete sheeting to cover framing (1/2" precut). Top shelf unfinished oak crown mantel. Wire lathe for stone application. Precut stone hearth blocks (for top of hearth). Stone quantity needed to cover face and hearth face of fireplace. Napoleon GVF36 Gas vent free fireplace and black louvres. Gas flex connector with shut off. Mortar grout bag along with one grout scrapping stick. Note: Must choose one of the two stone veneer colors pictured to the right. Fawn River blends well with earth tones and Heritage blends well with grey and Burgundy tones
Other items needed but not included:
2 -80LB bags of premixed veneer stone mortar (commonly available at lumber yard, Lowes, Menards, Home Depot etc. Basic hand tools. #2 square drive bit and power drill. Level. Wheel barrel & hoe or other means to mix mortar. Whisk broom. Circular saw and masonry cutting blade to saw stone veneer. Pointed and flat trowel. 1-LB of 1-1/4" roofing nails. Metal cutters (Snips). 1/2" gas line installed to fireplace from gas supply (professional installation of gas line recommended).
